Elite League: Nottingham Panthers 3-2 Cardiff Devils

Cardiff Devils fell to their first Elite League defeat of the season away to Nottingham Panthers.

Stephen Anderson gave Panthers the lead inside the opening six minutes with Tyler Busch levelling for the visitors in the second period.

But goals from Otto Nieminen and Hugo Roy put Panthers in control and although Trevor Cox got a second for Devils, the hosts held on.

Devils host Belfast Giants on Sunday, 8 October.
