Cardiff Devils have signed Tyler Wall following the departure of fellow netminder Callum Booth.

Wall, 25, played 35 games for ECHL side South Carolina Stingrays last season having previously spent two years in the New York Rangers system.

Wall should be available for the Devils' games against the Coventry Blaze next weekend.

He arrives after fellow Canadian Booth left the Devils by mutual consent just three months after moving to Wales.

Booth, 26, featured in two Challenge Cup games and four pre-season matches for the Elite Ice Hockey League club.

"The Devils would like to thank him (Booth) for his time with the club and wish him well with his playing career going forward," they said.

The Devils face Guildford Flames on Wednesday before back-to-back games against Coventry on Saturday and Sunday.
