Cardiff Devils returned to winning ways after successive Elite League losses with a comeback victory over Dundee Stars.

The hosts took the lead in the first period with a short-handed goal from Spencer Naas.

Brandon Alderson and Justin Crandall turned the game in Devils' favour in the next period before Naas struck for his second.

Cardiff regained the lead before the end of the period through Cole Sanford.

Crandall then added his second into an empty net to secure the win with seconds remaining.

The result sees Cardiff close to within two points of Sheffield Steelers at the top of the Elite League after Sheffield suffered a home shootout loss to Guildford Flames.

The game is the second of three for the Devils in Scotland, sandwiched between their Challenge Cup win over Glasgow Clan and an Elite League game on Sunday against the same opposition (17:00 GMT).
