Cardiff Devils netminder Tyler Walls made 36 saves

Cardiff Devils boosted their Elite League title hopes with a comfortable win at Manchester Storm.

Second-placed Devils had lost 5-1 to impressive leaders Sheffield Steelers in midweek.

In Manchester Joey Martin struck first for the visitors and after Stephen Johnson replied, Devils took command.

Ryan Barrow and Jamie Arniel struck before Martin completed his brace in the second period s as Devils remained eight points behind Steelers.

Cardiff Devils' match against Belfast Giants on Sunday, 7 January has been postponed, while Storm are at Coventry Blaze (17:30 GMT).
