Justin Crandall scored the winner as Cardiff Devils fought back from 3-0 down to boost their Elite League title hopes at Fife Flyers.

The hosts led through Colin Shirley's opener and Troy Lajeunesse's double before Ryan Barrow hit back.

Crandall scored Devils' second and, after Joshua Waller's equaliser, made it a brace to edge the visitors ahead.

The win came a day after they completed back-to-back league victories over Guildford Flames with a 4-0 home win.

On Saturday Waller and Cody Donaghey off the powerplay put Devils ahead in the opening period in the Welsh capital.

Another powerplay by Donaghey extended the lead, with Cole Sanford also getting in on the scoring before a goalless third period.

Devils goaltender Ben Bowns was player of the match having made 35 saves.

After Sunday's win in Scotland, Devils rose above Belfast Giants to second place behind league leaders Sheffield Steelers.
