Elite League: Cardiff Devils win 12th straight game against Dundee Stars

Cardiff Devils have won 27 of their 37 games in the Elite League this season

Cardiff Devils made it 12 straight Elite League wins with a 6-3 victory away against Dundee Stars.

Cole Sanford, Joey Martin and Tyler Busch all scored in the first period for the Devils, with Jacob Elmer responding for the hosts.

Elmer's second of the game and Carter Johnson's goal levelled the game, before Trevor Cox scored on the powerplay to restore Cardiff's lead.

Third period goals from Busch and Ben Davies sealed the win for the Devils.

Cardiff are still 14 points behind Elite League leaders Sheffield Steelers, who have lost just four games from 38 so far this season.

The Stars have now lost seven games in a row, and have dropped to seventh in the process.
