Cardiff Devils sealed a fifth-straight Elite League win with a 7-3 victory over the Dundee Stars at the Vindico Arena.
The Devils took the lead midway through the first period when Brad Schoonbaert was on hand to score off Riley Brandt's rebounded shot.
Josh MacDonald and Brett Perlini put Cardiff three goals up at the midway point before Philippe Sanche's power-play goal gave Dundee hope.
But the Devils scored four times in a third-period goal fest, Tyler Busch, MacDonald, Ben Almquist and Cody Donaghey on target for Cardiff while the Stars hit back through Keanu Yamamoto and Drydn Dow.
The victory moves Cardiff to within eight points of the Belfast Giants, who are currently top of the Elite League table.
The Devils face rivals Sheffield Steelers at the Utilita Area on Sunday, while Dundee are away at Guildford Flames.
