Cardiff Devils bounced back from their Challenge Cup defeat by Manchester Storm with Elite League victory at Glasgow Clan.

After a goalless opening period, the visitors struck in quick succession through Cole Sanford and Josh MacDonald.

Sanford scored his second on a power-play to give the visitors a cushion as the game wore on.

Mitchell Heard hit back for Clan, but it was too little to late to impact the outcome.

Devils return to action next weekend with roadtrips at Belfast Giants on Saturday, 5 October and Guildford Flames the following day.
