Devils begin pre-season with defeat to Herlev Eagles

Cardiff Devils kickstarted their pre-season schedule with a 4-1 loss to Herlev Eagles.
Hunter Shinkaruk netted the only goal for the home side at the Vindico Arena.
Devils were without Riley Brandt, Brett Perlini and Kohen Olischefski but had added Bayley Harewood and 17-year-old Joe Tomalin to their ranks.
The Welsh outfit are back in pre-season action against Danish side Eagles on Saturday night (19:00 BST).
