Cardiff Devils continued their strong start to the 2024-25 season with a 6-2 victory at Guildford Flames in the Challenge Cup.

Matt Alvara fired Guildford in front after just 21 seconds, before Brett Perlini equalised in the sixth minute.

And Cardiff raced into a 4-1 lead courtesy of a four-minute blitz in the third period, with Zach O'Brien, Evan Mosey and Joey Martin netting in quick succession.

Lewis Hook responded for the hosts before Ryan Barrow restored Cardiff's three-goal cushion - with Ben Davies adding a sixth midway through the third period to complete an emphatic triumph.

Devils return to action against Manchester Storm on Friday, 20 September (19:30 BST), with Flames taking on Sheffield Steelers on Saturday, 21 September (19:00 BST).
