Cardiff Devils overcame a two-goal deficit in their semi-final second leg to reach the Challenge Cup final at Sheffield Steelers' expense.
Steelers led 5-3 after their home first-leg win seven days earlier, but Devils – who were at home in the second leg - levelled the tie in the first period through Cole Sanford and Josh MacDonald.
Zach O'Brien and Joey Martin put dominant Devils 4-0 up on the night before Mitchell Balmas hit back but Steelers could not make any further inroads.
Devils will face Belfast Giants or Nottingham Panthers in the final. Giants beat Panthers 3-0 in their first leg on Wednesday night, with the second leg in Nottingham on 26 February.
Devils return to Elite League action on Saturday in the Welsh capital as they host Manchester Storm (19:00 GMT).
