Cardiff Devils forward Bayley Harewood has extended his two-way agreement with the Elite League club.
The 21-year-old will continue to play for Bristol Pitbulls in NIHL, where last year he scored 17 goals and 38 assists in 50 games.
Harewood, from Barry in south Wales, was called up to the Devils roster for three Challenge Cup and one Elite League game.
“Bayley is a big, strong kid and he skates very well,” said Devils’ head coach Pete Russell.
“He could play at this level right now, but there are still elements of his game that he needs to work on.
"He will benefit from getting a lot of ice time in every situation in Bristol.
“Bayley will train with us all season long and we know he can step in and play for us when required, he proved that last season."
Harewood featured regularly for the Devils during their last pre-season, and Russell said he will "have plenty of opportunities" to do the same this summer.
