    Football

    Jonjo Shelvey

Jonjo Shelvey has played his last game for Swansea ahead of a possible £10m move to Newcastle, according to the Sun.

If so, Shelvey hardly had the perfect send-off as the Swans were shocked by League Two side Oxford in a thrilling FA Cup third round tie.

Shelvey, 23, was also wildly off-target with several shots throughout and was then abused by one angry fan before making a return gesture after the game.

You can see the highlights from that game and the best of the FA Cup third round here.

    Your advice to Pep Guardiola

We are asking for your advice to potentially Premier League-bound Pep Guardiola.

Here are some more of your answers.

Ederiomo: Be ready to be really tested on working hard to win a real league not walkover leagues like the German and Spanish leagues.

Sean: Pep, if you're having trouble catching your afternoon siesta, pop along to Old Trafford.. zzz #siestafootball

Kelvin Benye: Pep, don't talk about refs, don't say anything about the FA leadership, don't talk about the press, cause they can ruin you.

    Football

    Celtic

Celtic boss Ronny Deila says the club's fans risk creating a "bad reputation" after flares were thrown during their 3-0 Scottish Cup win over Stranraer.

"We don't want this," Deila said. "It is something we need to get stopped.

"It is not positive for anybody and we don't want anything to do with it. Safety is the most important thing."

  6. Radical set of proposals

    Athletics

    Dan Roan

    BBC Sports editor

"This is a radical set of proposals by UKA, which is desperate to see progress on anti-doping amid the worst crisis the sport has known.

"It believes the IAAF, run by Lord Coe, is too preoccupied with salvaging its own credibility after recent corruption allegations.

"With time running out to restore public trust before the 2017 World Championships in London, it has taken it upon itself to lead a debate."

  7. World records should be reset

    Athletics

Here's a story and a half... UK Athletics has suggested world records should be reset to help achieve a "new era" of clean competition.

The sport's governing body has made several proposals, including longer bans for drug cheats and a public register of tested athletes.

It follows a number of doping and cover-up allegations.

UKA chairman Ed Warner said it was time for "radical reform", adding: "The integrity of athletics was challenged as never before in 2015."

"I make no apologies for changing the team up. I think it was the right decision, and I hope I'm justified in the next two games."

  9. 'I'm speechless at the minute'

    Darts

    Scott Waites

Needless to say Scott Waites was pretty chuffed with his victory.

"It seemed a million miles away when I had shoulder surgery. I had six weeks without throwing a dart. That's painful in itself. Now I'm taking the world title back home," he said.

"I'm speechless at the minute. I put my heart and soul into trying to win this."

Waites is the eighth player to win the BDO title more than once. The others are John Lowe, Eric Bristow, Jocky Wilson, Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld, Ted Hankey and Martin Adams.

Waites, a carpenter from Huddersfield, raced into a 5-0 lead.

Smith, 40, took the sixth set with a 161 checkout to spark hopes of a fightback, but Waites eased to a comfortable victory.

    Your advice to Pep Guardiola

Our first talking point of the day is asking for your advice that you would give Pep Guardiola, if, as expected, he comes to the Premier League in the summer.

What does the current Bayern Munich coach need to watch out for in English football?

Peter Lawless: Hey, Pep, practice your crowd psychology. Then they are too embarrassed to criticise you when your team plays badly.

Steve Howes: Advice for pep. Stop listening to whinny foreign coaches. Football fans like it this way, dont come and then complain.

John McEnerney: Pep go back 2 Catalonia play golf & forget about the EPL because you'll be frustrated by the lack of real quality players.

  17. Marko faces his fear

    Football

Hear the one about new Liverpool signing Marko Grujic having his passport confiscated by his dad who opposed the move?

Well the Serbian midfielder has revealed another odd reason the move nearly didn't go through - claustrophobia.

In an interview with the Liverpool Echo, the 19-year-old says he nearly refused to spend an hour-long session in an MRI scanner as part of his medical.

“I am very claustrophobic, so it was very scary for me to lie for one hour in the dark in the MRI scanner,” he said.

The defender, who did not play in his team's FA Cup tie against Norwich, is understood to have been among five people on board.

  19. Saivet the saviour?

Well in recent years Newcastle have taken on the mantle and they're on the trail of another - Senegal and Bordeaux winger Henri Saivet.

    Henri Saivet

The Chronicle's chief sports writer Lee Ryder says the 25-year-old is already at Tyneside to thrash out the details but the deal is not yet done.

So that's what we want you to tell us... What advice would you give to Pep Guardiola about football in England?
