It's all eyes on Brussels as the world's best athletes have one final chance to secure a place in next week's Diamond League Final in Zurich.

Great Britain's Dina Asher-Smith features in the women's 200m looking to back up her impressive third-place finish in the 100m event in Paris last time out. Asher-Smith, the British record holder in both events, faces a tough field which includes USA's Sha'Carri Richardson and Olympic bronze-medallist Sherika Jackson of Jamaica.

There's also strong British interest in the women's 800m with Olympic silver-medallist and national record holder Keely Hodgkinson back in action after finishing fifth in the Eugene Diamond League. The 19-year-old is joined by compatriot Jemma Reekie, who finished fourth with a personal best in Tokyo.

Keep an eye on the women's 5000m which showcases Ethiopia's world record holder Letesenbet Gidey, Kenya's world leader Hellen Obiri - who won silver in Tokyo - and British record holder Eilish McColgan. McColgan will be eager to impress in her first outing since failing to qualify for the Olympic 5000m final after being clipped by opponents.

Sweden's pole vaulting superstar Armand Duplantis has become a household name in athletics after clearing an outdoor world record 6.15m in Rome last year. The 21-year-old broke the meeting record in Paris with a 6.01m most recently and may even have his indoor world record 6.18m in his sights. Great Britain's Harry Coppell has a season's best 5.80m but he will be eyeing his own British record at 5.85m in the men's event.
