    Lewis Hamilton is back out on track and his flying lap puts him back up to the top of the leader board. His lap time is now 1:30.387.

    Pierre Gasly is making his way around the track. His fourth lap is a flying one and he jumps up to third.

    We've had over 30 minutes of morning testing, so far.

    George Russell has completed 14 laps, Esteban Ocon is on 12.

    Lewis Hamilton and Liam Lawson are on 11. Fernando Alonso has completed nine.

    Nico Hulkenberg is on seven, Pierre Gasly on three, Yuki Tsunoda on five.

    Carlos Sainz and Oscar Piastri are both on four laps.

    The weather was a talking point yesterday but it could be even more so this morning. It’s grey and windy again, but there’s more rain around that could impact things.

    Some showers overnight haven’t been enough to make the track wet in these early minutes of running, but there’s enough drizzle to limit the amount of laps that teams are committing to so far.

    After Lewis Hamilton returns to the pits, the track falls silent for a little spell.

    It's a busy day for Liam Lawson, he will be in the Red Bull seat for the full day.

    It's his only opportunity to get to grips with the car before the first race in Australia.

    McLaren won the constructors' championship for the first time since 1998 last season and Oscar Piastri, who drove in the morning session, said the car was feeling "pretty good".

    "I think we're in OK shape. A few teams looking pretty good early on. [It's] early doors but we're pretty happy," the Australian added.

    "We're doing a good job of focusing on ourselves and getting some good information. It's already looking very close so I think we're in for a very exciting year in F1."

    Cars are back in the garages to change their set-ups. Nico Hulkenberg has completed the most laps, seven for him.

    Quite a few drivers have aero rakes attached to their cars.

    Lewis Hamilton and Haas' Esteban Ocon are the only drivers out on track at the moment.

    Hamilton has clocked in the fastest lap time of 1:33.680.

    Are those spiderwebs on the Racing Bulls? Nope, just aero rakes.

    The metal rakes, attached to the front of Yuki Tsunoda's car, will give the engineers important information on air flow around the car.

    Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton joins the pack.

    His former Mercedes teammate George Russell sets the fastest lap, so far, with a time of 1:35.201.

    Of the 10 drivers this morning, Red Bull's Liam Lawson and Carlos Sainz in the Williams will be driving for the full day.
