Rain stops playpublished at 16:44 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Gloucestershire 185-2 (target 228) v Surrey

It's been approaching for a while and now it's arrived.

A heavy rain shower forces the players off at Bristol with Gloucestershire still 43 short of their target of 228.

    Will they get back on?

  3. Postpublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Gloucestershire 180-2 (target 228) v Surrey

48 needed for Gloucestershire as the boundaries continue to flow. Skies are darkening though.

Graeme van Buuren has 89, Chris Dent 67.

If one of these showers hits, it could be game over.

for Van Buurenpublished at 16:32 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Gloucestershire 166-2 (target 228) v Surrey

Graeme van Buuren launches Reece Topley for six. It looks like the weather is closing in at the County Ground with Gloucestershire still needing 62 runs for victory.

They'll be hoping the showers stay away.

A century for Yorkshire opener Adam Lyth at Headingley.

His effort so far looks like steering his side to a draw with 20 overs still to bowl.

He gets to his 25th first-class ton off 166 balls, including 13 fours and two sixes.

  6. Essex draw with Worcestershirepublished at 16:25 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

Early handshakes all round at Chelmsford where the result of this one has been on the cards pretty much since yesterday afternoon.

Essex take 13 points and Worcestershire 12.

    MullaneyImage source, Rex Features

Not looking like much happening with the ball for Durham in this evening session.

Steven Mullaney and Lyndon James largely untroubled in the middle for Nottinghamshire as this one seems set for a draw.

Another 34 more overs in theory still to bowl.

  9. Snow stops playpublished at 16:18 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Warwickshire 7-0 (target 213) v Derbyshire

    Gloucestershire 131-2 (target 228) v Surrey

Gloucestershire need less than 100 to beat Surrey.

Graeme van Buuren continues to motor - he has 65 off as many balls.

Captain Chris Dent has calmly worked his way to 44.

Surrey will be ruing losing those four quick wickets at the end of their innings either side of lunch.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 11 April 2021

    Brook c B Root b Hogan 60 (Yorkshire 193 & 176-4 v Glamorgan 330 & 241-4 dec)

Are Glamorgan still in with a sniff of victory?

Harry Brook is dismissed for 60 to end his fourth-wicket partnership of 131 with Adam Lyth (85 not out).

Brook drives a touch too early on a ball from Michael Hogan and is easily caught by Billy Root at extra cover.

A minimum of 26 overs still to bowl for Glamorgan to try and take six more wickets.

    A Cook b Leach 12 (Essex 490-9 dec & 17-1 v Worcestershire 475)

Probably academic in the circumstances, but worthy of note....

Alastair Cook is bowled for just 12 in Essex's second innings as Joe Leach gets one comprehensively through his defences to send his stumps flying.

In theory, the Bears have 41 overs to try and score 213 to win.

How much of a go will they give this?

    Northants 434 v Kent 455 & 34-1

One game that hasn't got much of a mention today is at Wantage Road. Two high first-innings scores and bad weather mean things are drifting to a draw there.

Kent have begun their second innings and have lost Daniel Bell-Drummond. England batsman Zak Crawley is now at the crease on 15.

Let's show you what the scores on the doors are...
