Beautiful footwork from Heather Knight, coming down to meet the ball and piercing that same gap. These two are building a nice partnership. They know they have the key. They need to bat time and take it deep while also scoring boundaries.

For all of Dottin's power, Heather Knight plays a glorious textbook drive through the off side for four runs.

This batting pair really complement each other.

  5. Spirit 42-2published at 70 balls left

Two dot balls to end the set of five for Sciver but the damage was done with 14 runs of those first three deliveries.

  6. Spirit 42-2published at 72 balls left

Oh my! Another boundary as Dottin is down on knee and slaughters the ball through long-off.

Wow. That is an unbelievable shot. Out of nowhere. Sciver is a very good bowler, but not good enough there. What a way to start the set.

Spirit 34-2published at 74 balls left

Nat Sciver is introduced to the bowling attack and is greeted with a heave up and over the mid-wicket boundary by Dottin. She can really strike a ball!

  10. Spirit 28-2published at 75 balls left

We've spoken about the depth of this Spirit batting line-up but they will need a big partnership here from their skipper Knight and the world class Dottin.

It's time to earn your worth.

Brunt was pumped up there. You could see how much that one met. London Spirit are under pressure now.

    Katherine Brunt strikes!

Naomi Dattani ends the ball skywards on the leg side, it's in the air for quite a while and Sammy-Jo Johnson takes a well-judged grab over her shoulder.

Bryce is just rolling the wrist a little bit and creating that inswing. But the key is that line and length. She has bowled straight and they have not been able to get her away.

Bryce deserved that wicket, having really stopped the flow of runs. She concedes just five runs from her set of 10.

The Rockets know how big that wicket is. Bryce has been fantastic here. So hard to get away. The pressure built. Tammy Beaumont couldn't find the middle of the bat and was caught trying to play that release shot.

Bryce has bowled a great set so far. Good length, just moving it in a touch.

  20. Spirit 23-0published at 85 balls left

Brilliant comeback from Bryce, four dot balls. Will we see another set of five from the seamer?

I tell you what, I've really got accustomed to The Hundred rules a lot quicker than I thought I would.
