Gibbs lbw Baker 21 (Invincibles 44-3)

Given! It's a day for the youngsters with 17-year-old spinner Hannah Baker nipping in with the wicket of Grace Gibbs. It's the googly from the youngsters - the delivery that spins into the batter - and Gibbs is trapped in front.

The Invincibles batter can't believe it has been given but doesn't get the answer she's after from Wilson when pushing for a review.

That's a really good start from Nicole Harvey. She does an innocuous little pause before she bowls the ball, almost as if she wants to wait and see what the batter is doing.

It probably wasn't short enough for Capsey to play the pull shot to.

Gone! Spinner Nicole Harvey gets Alice Capsey with her second ball with one that skids through the 16-year-old's stroke. You just seen the Fire needed that.

After a quiet beginning this is turning into a lovely start for the Oval Invincibles. Grace Gibbs hits her third four, a lovely shot that flies through the air. Whoever thought up the plan to promote Gibbs must be sitting comfortably.

That's smart batting from Capsey. She's just waiting for the ball to come to her and times it perfectly.

Shot! Alice Capsey, having been kept off strike for a while, smacks international star Hayley Matthews to the boundary.

Oh! And again. This is an even better shot from the most talked about 16-year-old in cricket.

That was a bit of a free hit for Grace Gibbs. It was so short and wide, all she had to do was get some bat on it and it would go to the boundary.

Grace Gibbs gets her second boundary, slicing a wide delivery over a fielder's head. The music booms out around The Oval again. The crowd is building once more.

That's actually a really good piece of fielding. It's one of those ones when you're thinking about the catch, the ball going for four if you miss it and the possibility of the ball bouncing awkwardly into your face.

  18. Invincibles 9-1published at 85 balls left

Gibbs is trying to get going without really succeeding. Capsey clobbers one too but some good fielding from Cleary keeps her to a single. Welsh Fire will be quietly pleased with their start.

That swing from Gibbs is more what you expect from the pinch hitter role.

It looks as though Grace Gibbs has been told she can have a swing. She heaves at this Piepa Cleary delivery, missing it completely. The right-hander shrugs in the direction of her batting partner Alice Capsey. She looks confused as to how she missed it.
