So, there has been no confirmation of the Superchargers players who tested positive for Covid, but they have left out both Adam Lyth and Harry Brook - two of their key batters. Don't think it takes a genius.
The replacements - Jordan Thompson and Tom Kohler-Cadmore - are no slouches, though. They have both done it in the Blast before.
Jordan is also a Pudsey St. Lawrence lad, where I used to play my cricket, and they only breed big guns there (apart from me).

There was some doubt about whether this game may even go ahead earlier this week after it was announced that two Superchargers players had tested positive for Covid.
However, these were quickly allayed, with the game confirmed to be going ahead.

Originals win the toss and will bowl
Just as in the women's game, the visitors win the toss and opt to bowl first.

The Manchester Originals came out on top in the earlier women's game, with Lizelle Lee's superb knock seeing her side home with ease.
Laura Wolvaardt smashed a brilliant 75 to rescue the Superchargers from 16-4 but it was all for nothing.
Can the Superchargers men get some revenge tonight? Or will it be a clean sweep from the Originals?

Here we are then people, the battle to be king of the north!
It is a crucial one as regards this inaugural Hundred, with both sides desperate for points to force their way into the battle for a top-three spot.
Oh, and it just happens that it is being played on a belter of a pitch.
