All times stated are UK

  1. NZ 61-2

    Target 125

Rashid Khan's 400th Twenty20 wicket came in his 289th game. Dwayne Bravo, who is the leading T20 wicket-taker in the world with 553, took 365 games to reach that landmark.

Another tight over from Mohammad Nabi, conceding just three singles. NZ need 64 from 60 balls.

    Alex Hartley

England spinner on BBC Test Match Special

Rashid's just an unbelievable bowler, the more he plays, the better he will get.

SMS Message: Shame this fixture was first up. Regulation win for the Kiwis and Group 2 settled. Shame for India having to play a dead rubber but disappointing performances against both semi finalists cost them. from Martin, Worcester

  4. NZ 58-2

    Target 125

Devon Conway works his first ball down the ground for a single.

New Zealand need 67 from 66 balls to book a semi-final spot.

Not needed, that! That's the beauty of cricket, twists, turns, anything can happen!

Is there a twist on the tail? Is that the start of something?

  7. WICKET

    Guptill b Rashid Khan 28 (NZ 57-2)

    Straight through him!

Martin Guptill looks to slog sweep Rashid Khan away but he is a little early on the shot and the leg-spinner rearranges his stumps.

That is Rashid's 400th wicket in Twenty20 cricket. He is only 23.

  8. Roy to have a scan

    Alex Hartley

England spinner on BBC Test Match Special

It's not often you see cricketers cry on the field. He will be devastated, fingers crossed he is alright and makes a speedy recovery.

  9. NZ 53-1

    Target 125

    Tighter over for Afghanistan.

Just three singles from Mohammad Nabi's second over.

  10. Roy to have scan

We've got an update on Jason Roy for you.

The England opener will go for a scan on Sunday and there will be further news on the injury and his participation in the remainder of the World Cup on Monday.

In case you missed it yesterday he picked up a leg injury when looking to take a single.

  11. Post update

Here is how Mujeeb Ur Rahman dismissed Daryl Mitchell for the breakthrough.

  12. NZ 50-1

    Target 125

New Zealand have to take zero risks against Rashid Khan. They could go at four an over during his spell and it wouldn't affect the run rate that much.

They milk his first over for five singles.

  13. Post update

    Alex Hartley

The mystery spinner, the wicket is playing slightly low, can he get something out of it?

  14. Post update

Powerplay is over and it is time for Rashid Khan to enter the fray.

This will be a key period of the game.

  15. Post update

    Phil Tufnell

Former England spinner on BBC Test Match Special

This wicket is looking tricky now. They have got off to a good start but you get the feeling there could be a cluster of wickets around the corner.

  16. NZ 45-1

    Target 125

Catch it! Oh! Kane Williamson sweeps away but doesn't connect cleanly at all and it loops towards Hamid Hassan at short fine leg but the pace bowler can't quite get there.

Two boundaries to end the over and powerplay. Mujeeb Ur Rahman drops short and Martin Guptill pulls away but he drives away a fuller quicker ball.

New Zealand's powerplay. They need 80 from 84 balls.

  17. NZ 36-1

    Target 125

Punished. Hamid Hassan offers Martin Guptill a nice juicy full toss and the Kiwi just pumps it back down the ground.

There looks to be a few nerves in the New Zealand dugout, but this is their game to lose.

  18. Post update

During the Afghanistan innings we said there was an unbelievable piece of fielding from Daryl Mitchell to take a catch on the mid-wicket boundary but to then have an awareness to flick it back in when he was in danger of going over the rope. It saved his side four runs.

    Have a watch below!

It isn't the only time New Zealand have done something like that in this tournament. Jimmy Neesham did something similar against India last Sunday. You can decide which is best.

  19. NZ 30-1

    Target 125

New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson is the new batter. If ever a chase was made for him this is it.

The Kiwis work four singles to end the over. Good sensible cricket.

That is a beauty by Mujeeb!
