Now that is a lovely looking shot. So elegant.

Now that is a lovely looking shot. So elegant.
Glenn Maxwell is starting to motor. Two fours in quick succession to the man nicknamed Big Show.
Enter Daniel Bell-Drummond, London Spirit's number four with Dan Lawrence away playing for England Lions.

Southern Brave are very good at planning. They have done that really well so far, they have prevented London Spirit from getting away from them.
Crawley c Davies b Hogan 13 (Spirit 29-2)
Zak Crawley departs! He's middled one but hit it straight to the one fielder in the deep.
That may well be Crawley's last act in the competition with him going onto England Test duty next week. Not what he had in mind.
20 balls gone. It's pretty even. Eoin Morgan watches on from the sidelines given nothing away.
London Spirit have overturned another decision.
Oh wait... what's going on!? The technology shows Maxwell showed survive but the message has been lost somewhere. The umpire holds up his finger to signal out.
He has to change his mind all over again. It's definitely not out. We got there... eventually.

Is it outside the line? Zak Crawley is indicating that it could be.
Big moment! Glenn Maxwell is given out lbw to Marcus Stoinis.
It looked close. Maxwell reviews.

No ground is too big for Glenn Maxwell once he gets going.
The new batter is Australia superstar Glenn Maxwell. His international team-mate Marcus Stoinis is going to keep going here and bowl 10 balls in a row.

It's not that good a ball. He probably should have sent that one to the boundary too!

That one wasn't timed at all. He looks at his bat like it's betrayed him but he's given away a pretty simple chance.
Rossington c Vince b Stoinis 8 (Spirit 24-1)
Marcus Stoinis strikes back! Adam Rossington tries to repeat the shot of the previous ball but only manages to loop the ball up for a simple catch.

Marcus Stoinis always orders shirts that are too small for him to make us think that he's massive.
This is a battle between two big men. When Adam Rossington hits the ball it stays hit.
Marcus Stoinis is clobbered for four again.
Adam Rossington has had to wait to face his first ball. Here it comes and he edges the ball for four.
It's a boundary but pretty fortunate.
And now Zak Crawley takes full advantage of that reprieve. He eases the ball past the diving fielder on the off side.
Lovely shot.

It's a clear sign of their plan to Crawley, though. They're trying to cramp him up for room, not give him any width to swing at.
Carlos would make a good umpire. The ball indeed has hit Crawley's pocket rather than his bat. That's what made the noise which fooled the umpire.
Crawley survives.
