All times stated are UK

  1. Post update

Sam Billings looked in good touch but he wasn't able to stay around for long enough.

Moeen Ali certainly enjoyed that fact that Phoenix got him pretty early.

  2. Invincibles 61-5

    Need 100 more

Sunil Narine pulls his first ball for six.

He's here for a good time, not a long time, I'm going to guess.

  3. WICKET

    S Curran c Smeed b Richardson 11 (Invincibles 55-5)

    Another one goes.

Sam Curran was really struggling to get away and he takes on the big shot as the pressure builds.

He tries to slap Kane Richardson over the covers but just picks out Will Smeed, who is about 10-15 yards off the ropes.

  4. Not out

My days. That is a terrible review.

There is a huge gap between bat and ball.

    Not out.

  5. Phoenix review

Has Kane Richardson got Sam Curran caught behind?

    Phoenix like it.

  6. Invincibles 52-4

    Need 109 more

Just a single from Benny Howell's latest set.

Invincibles need 109 off 45 balls.

It's going to need something special.

  7. Post update

Here's how Jason Roy fell for 17.

  8. Invincibles 51-4

At the half way point of the innings Phoenix are in complete and utter control, especially when you consider it is highly unlikely that Jordan Cox will bat again after taking a blow on the hand.

The men's competition is going to be very congested if Phoenix win this.

  9. WICKET

    Billings c Moeen b Livingstone 14 (Invincibles 48-4)

    Another one goes!

Sam Billings goes deep in his crease again but just smacks a back-foot drive straight to Moeen Ali in the covers.

It is a sharp catch because it goes quickly but it is a pretty soft dismissal.

  10. Invincibles 47-3

    Liam Livingstone is on now.

    He starts with two half-trackers.

Sam Billings pulls the first for a single before Sam Curran crunches a cut to the boundary.

  11. Invincibles 42-3

    Need 119 more

I think we've cleared up that Jason Roy did hit it, maybe off the toe-end of the bat.

Anyway, Sam Billings is the new batter.

The Invincibles captain rocks back in his crease and pulls a short ball from Moeen Ali down to the boundary, before planting the England off-spinner over long-on for six.

  12. Post update

Here's how Chris Woakes picked up the key wicket of Heinrich Klaasen.

  13. Invincibles 29-3

    Need 132 more

There's a bit of confusion about whether Jason Roy actually got an edge on that.

He opted not to review it though so he must have believed that he had.

Invincibles already need more than two a ball from here to win.

  14. WICKET

    Roy c Benjamin b Howell 17 (Invincibles 27-3)

Phoenix are in complete and utter control.

Jason Roy tries to reverse sweep Benny Howell away but doesn't make clean connection, it may even come off his gloves.

It cannons into the helmet of Chris Benjamin, who is keeping wicket with Jamie Smith off the pitch.

It then falls into the stomach of Benjamin, who juggles it and then holds on.

  15. Invincibles 27-2

    Need 134 more

A change in bowling for Birmingham Phoenix as the powerplay ends.

Kane Richardson is on for Chris Woakes and he strays with an off-side wide before spraying one down the leg side later in the set.

No boundaries conceded though and Invincibles are starting to desperately need them.

  16. WICKET

    Klaasen c Duckett b Woakes 0 (Invincibles 20-2)

    Lovely bowling, and good captaincy!

Moeen Ali opts to keep the slip in and Chris Woakes finds a little bit of movement and draws the edge from Heinrich Klaasen.

Ben Duckett pouches another one at slip.

    Phoenix are in control.

  17. Invincibles 20-1

    Need 141 more

    Back-to-back fours for Jason Roy.

He flicks Chris Woakes off his pads to the fine leg boundary, before a thick edge evades gully and runs away.

  18. Post update

Here's how Milne picked up the wicket of Will Jacks in his opening set.

  19. Invincibles 12-1

South Africa's Henrich Klaasen is the new batter.

He's been in superb form so getting him in early isn't necessarily a bad thing for Invincibles.

A good set of five from Adam Milne, going for just two singles.

  20. Post update

Jordan Cox's hand is off the bat, and it's basically brushed off his finger tips and gone into the palm of the hand.

He's walking off the outfield with a towel covering his hand.

    He looks in serious pain.
