Live Reporting

Jack Skelton and Ffion Wynne

All times stated are UK

  1. Fire 33-0

    Need 126 more to win

A classical and classy off-drive down the ground for four by Stephen Eskinazi.

  2. Fire 29-0

    Absolute calamity all round here.

Stephen Eskinazi chips the ball straight up but bowler Matthew Potts and fielders Reece Topley and Harry Brook just look each other as the ball drops to the floor.

Both Fire batters end up at the same end and it should be a run out but Reece Topley's throw misses and the result is a single for the Fire.

    Scenes.

  3. Fire 28-0

Stephen Eskinazi is emulating Harry Brook so far.

A cheeky sccop over the wicketkeeper for four.

  4. Fire 24-0

    And now back-to-back sixes!

Another ball in the arc from Reece Topley and it's punished once more by Stephen Eskinazi, clattering it over the ropes in front of the Western Terrace.

  5. Fire 18-0

    Back-to-back boundaries for Stephen Eskinazi!

A delicious flick through mid-wicket for four is followed by a powerful clip off his legs for six.

  6. Fire 6-0

    Target 159

Matthew Potts beats Jonny Bairstow's outside edge with an absolute pearler.

The opening bowlers are backing up Harry Brook's heroics in fine style so far.

  7. Fire 5-0

    Target 159

Superchargers left-armer Reece Topley starts tidily. Each of his first five balls goes for a single.

Jonny Bairstow, a visitor on his usual home ground, has two and Steve Eskinazi three.

  8. Post update

It looked like Welsh Fire might only be chasing about 100 before Harry Brook's onslaught.

Instead they need 159 to win and stay in contention for a spot in the eliminator.

    Here we go...

  9. Post update

After all of that, having dominated so much early on, Welsh Fire need 159 to win.

It'll be Jack Skelton to take you through their chase.

  10. Post update

Harry Brook on Sky Sports: "We had a lot of clarity going into this game. The plan was to bat first and score as many runs as we can. We still have a slight chance of going through so I had a lot of clarity about needing to score runs.

"I liked it out there. It looked tough at the start with the new ball and they had two world class bowlers up front. I was glad I wasn't out there then but the pitch seemed to improve after that.

"If we get a bit out of the pitch like they did and get some early wickets then we've got a chance."

"The crowd were quite quiet at the start but I managed to gee them up a bit."

  11. Post update

It is the first century of the men's Hundred this year, after Tammy Beaumont's effort in the women's competition.

It is the third century of the men's competition overall after Will Smeed and Will Jacks last year.

  12. Superchargers 158-7

And he clubs the last ball for four!

That is incredible. Harry Brook finishes with 105 not out from 42 balls! Superchargers were 10-3, then 78-6 - and no other batter scored more than 15!

  13. 100 for Harry Brook

    Superchargers 154-7

Oh my word! Harry Brook, that is absolutely sensational!

He goes four, four, four, six to bring up his century from just 41 balls! What an astonishing innings!

  14. Superchargers 136-7

Lockie Ferguson starts really well, with three singles, before Harry Brook inevitably whacks him down the ground for six!

  15. Superchargers 128-7

    This is incredible!

Harry Brook clips another one off his legs for four as Superchargers get set for a big finish with 10 balls left.

The way he's going, he could easily hit all 10 of them to the boundary.

  16. Superchargers 118-7

    Four more!

That is a costly move from the Welsh Fire.

19 runs come from those five balls and Harry Brook has 71 from 31 balls!

  17. Superchargers 109-7

    An interesting bowling choice, this.

Luke Wells' part-time leg spin is being sent all around the ground by Harry Brook.

Four, six, four off the first three balls.

  18. 50 for Harry Brook

    Superchargers 96-7

Harry Brook has a steely look on his face as he raises his bat for a fantastic half-century from 24 balls.

No other Superchargers batter has made more than 15 so far.

  19. WICKET

Wiese run out Abell 3 (Superchargers 92-7)

    By millimetres!

It's a brilliant piece of work. Wiese hits to Abell at cover, sets off straight away for a single but is just short of his ground as the throw skims the bails.

It's very good awareness from the bowler Van der Merwe too, as he reads the line well and lets the ball hit the stumps.
