    He bowls a filthy log hop which is skied by Keacy Carty, but the West Indies batter breathes a sigh of relief when it drops safe.

    England Jos Buttler summons Liam Livingstone into the attack, but then changes his mind and gives Will Jacks the ball instead. Four singles off the over as Keacy Carty and Shimron Hetmyer knock the ball into the gaps.

    Now if you're wondering why the players are wearing black arm bands. It's following the passing of Joe Solomon, the former Guyana and West Indies batter who died on Saturday.

    Solomon, who played 27 Tests for the West Indies, was best known for the run out which led to the famous tied Test in 1960 at the Gabba.

    He was also the subject of one of the more bizarre dismissals in Test cricket when he was given out hit wicket against Australia at the MCG in January 1961 after his cap fell on to the stumps. Wally Grout is the Australia wicketkeeper pictured making the appeal. Richie Benaud was the bowler.

    It's a big-turning googly from Rehan Ahmed that turns sharply into Shai Hope.

    The West Indies captains jabs his bat at it to keep it out but can only send the ball to Matthew Potts, who takes a good catch at mid-wicket.

    Too full from Rehan Ahmed and he's punished.

    Shai Hope has a career average of 51.68 in ODIs, and his average against England is 38.76 which is surprisingly his second lowest against a full member. He only averages lower against New Zealand.

    The West Indies captain is in fantastic form and it shows as he pierces the off-side field with a superbly timed punch.

    Get Shai Hope early and England might be a chance but that is far easier said than done at the moment.

    Another glorious drive looks destined for the boundary but a diving stop at cover saves a couple of runs.

    Harry Brook then makes a great diving stop at deep backward square to deny Keacy Carty a boundary to end the over.

    Three reds. Gus Atkinson has his second to give England hope.

    If it wasn't obvious in real time, it was clear after the first replay that Alick Athanaze was a goner.

    Atkinson fired it in very full, fast and the ball was cannoning into middle and off a third of the way up.

    Jos Buttler was convinced and reviewed the 'not out' decision immediately.

    It's not a bad ball at all from Gus Atkinson but the West Indies right-hander takes a ball from a fourth stump line and flashes it through backward point for four.

    A sharp bouncer keeps Carty honest to end the over but both batters look very much at ease in the middle now.
