After playing their first two group games out east in Moncton, England don't have far to travel for their last-16 clash.

Had they won Group F they would have stayed right in Montreal. As it is they have a couple of hours drive to relocate to Ottawa for Wednesday's meeting with Norway.

Four minutes of injury-time added on.

Lady Andrade produces a disappointing cross and that is Karen Bardsley's all day.

The England goalkeeper eats up another few second as she takes her time over a clearance upfield.

Lianne Sanderson warms Sandra Sepulveda's palms with a meaty hit from a tight angle. Just three minutes to go and play is exactly where England coach Mark Sampson wants it.

YELLOW CARD

Colombia, pressing forward, are caught miles upfield by a simple ball over the top. Jodie Taylor is chasing after it, goalkeeper Sandra Sepulveda is flying out at top speed, a real 50:50 ball.

Taylor gets a touch of the ball and Sepulveda gets only the England midfielder's shin - at least it looks that way at full speed. Watching very carefully on a replay it does seem as though the keeper just manages to kick the ball away.

The keeper is booked for her efforts.

That was more like it from England and Lianne Sanderson, on as a sub, swipes thin air with a clear sight of goal.

Jordan Nobbs low cross made its way through to her rather unexpectedly and Sanderson missed the ball entirely from 14 yards.

A dangerous cross from Diana Ospina on the England left, punched clear by Karen Bardsley.

England need to get their mojo back. This game is slipping into a pattern of Colombia pressure and England passivity.

Carolina Arias is walking a tightrope.

The Colombia defender was booked for the handball that gave away the penalty for England second, but is throwing herself into tackles like a woman with a clean slate.

She flattens Steph Houghton with a sliding tackle that gets only a tiny bit of ball, if any, but escapes further punishement.

Jo Potter is on, but it is in place of striker Fran Kirby instead of the struggling Casey Stoney.

Potter will slot into midfield and try and give the England defence more protection. Colombia have been making the running in the second half.

YELLOW CARD

Alex Scott goes into the book for getting a little too much of a Colombia players' shirt.

Casey Stoney goes down with a muscle pull. Colombia reluctantly put the ball out of play so she can get treatment.

The cat-calls come down from the stands, but it is a genuine injury. She is struggling and may need to come off. Jo Potter would be the likeliest candidate.

That is more like it from Colombia's Yoreli Rincon. She keeps it simple and direct, walloping in a shot from 25 yards that strays just high and wide. But not by much.

Yoreli Rincon with a Zidane-esque roulette double drag-back. The trick with the lowest conversion rate of any in the showboat's arsenal? England stand off and nick the ball off her with relative ease.

Colombia have started brightly as well. Lady Andrade is twisting and teasing, but England wisely stand off her and jockey for position.

Another promising free-kick position for England after a foul on Toni Duggan out wide.

Fara Williams' delivery almost picks out Duggan but is a little too close to goalkeeper Sandra Sepulveda.

Sepulveda goes down like a sack of spuds at the merest touch from Casey Stoney in the aftermath. The referee is not buying that though and the England defender jogs back chuckling to herself at the theatrics.

Fran Kirby is only five foot two inches tall. But her determination take her above the taller Colombian defenders at the back post.

She can't get over the top of her header though and the ball bounces wide.

England are up to second in the group as it stands, behind France on goal difference.

Norway are England's last-16 opponents if it finishes up this way.

England are buzzing with confidence now - zipping the ball about and making runs in behind the Colombia defence.

But this Colombia team have the individual talent to turn a game on a sixpence. Mark Sampson will want more than a one-goal cushion before he is sitting comfortably.

There was a bit of a delay in getting fans into the stadium over in Ottawa, as the BBC's Caroline Rigby reports...

Let's hope they managed to get to their seats swiftly, because since then France have scored two more! They are now 3-0 up on Mexico.

The first sight of Alex Scott bombing on from right-back and she supplies a peach of a cross, arrowing in towards the front post.

Toni Duggan is almost onto it, but a covering Colombia defender manages to divert the ball clean over the top.

Lovely stuff from Colombia as Lady Andrade rolls her foot over the ball, feints, shimmies and then skins Jordan Nobbs on the byeline.

Her cut-back to Daniela Montoya is precise, but Montoya's shot is not. It flies well over the top and goalkeeper Karen Bardsley can wave it on its way.

"Key players are coming back at a good time for England. Jordan Nobbs is in for Jill Scott, who I actually think has been excellent so far, but Nobbs will offer a lot of energy, and can be clinical and pick a pass too.

"Another key position for England will be at right-back, where Alex Scott will need all her experience to deal with Colombia's Lady Andrade, who is a very talented player.

"We flew over here with the England team, and they are in a really positive mood. They are happy with the result against Mexico, when they wanted to show how attacking they could be. Tonight, they should be showing more of the same. They want to show everybody at home just how they good they are."

France against Mexico is the other half of this Group F equation.

Fran Kirby was christened "mini Messi" by boss Mark Sampson after her jinking solo goal against Mexico.

It looks like the 21-year-old Reading striker has also picked up the Argentine's knack for soaking up punishment from cynical defenders.

"If Colombia try and kick me up, that means I'm winning so I'll give them a cheeky smile and carry on," said Kirby.

"That will probably annoy them even more but I think I'll be alright."

"I'd like to think England will start a bit better today. In the games against France and Mexico they started a bit lethargically, and there was very little urgency covering back. If they can find that from the start, it will help them get forward."

England manager Mark Sampson, on his team selection: "First and foremost we looked at the opponents and the way we played against Mexico. Alex Greenwood made a big impact in that game, and we think there might be an opportunity to exploit space on the wings. Greenwood and Alex Scott are fantastic crossers of the ball. Hopefully we can use those weapons to our advantage.

"Casey Stoney coming in is just to freshen things up, she has been training great and has good partnership with Steph Houghton. We are pleased with that midfield unit and I'm sure that will help us going forward, but we will need to defend as well.

"It's great to have Karen Carney back. She made a big impact against Mexico, she's in a good vein of form and is certainly looking forward to playing from the start today."

"England could face various different teams in the second round should they progress after playing Colombia.

"There is plenty of reward for winning in the Montreal Olympic Stadium because, if they top Group F, they would face the runners-up of Group E, which could be Costa Rica, Spain or South Korea.

"Finishing second means they would face Norway, while third place means they could take on either the United States or current World Cup holders Japan."

England coach Mark Sampson certainly isn't being suckered in by Colombia's lowly status in the rankings.

"We've got to put the world rankings to one side," he said.

"It's a bit unfair in women's football because a lot of the South American and African nations don't have many opportunities to play the top nations.

"I'd prefer to judge Colombia on drawing with Mexico and winning against France."

According to Fifa's rankings, Colombia are the 28th best team in the world.

But as we have seen over the past month, not everything that Fifa says is an accurate reflection of reality.

Colombia pulled off one of the biggest shocks in Women's World Cup history last time out, beating third-ranked France, one of the big pre-tournament favourites.

Admittedly they only had three shots on goals compared to France's 22, but it was one of the finest stealth raids you have ever seen.

"Taking the metro from downtown Montreal to the indoor Olympic Stadium means you can arrive in your seat without seeing the sun. But outside this behemoth of an arena, built for the 1976 Games, there are plenty of Colombians about.

"Expectations are that this 60,000 seater will be a quarter full. About 45,000 were in for Canada's draw with the Netherlands on Monday."

This is not a cut-out-and-keep guide to the qualification scenarios facing England tonight. It is never a good idea to take scissors to a screen.

But feel free to cut and paste what follows as a handy heads-up on what Mark Sampson's side needs tonight. I know I will as the evening progresses, the goals fly in and teams climb and fall on the Group F table.

Deep breath...

A win or draw will definitely get England through to the last 16.

Even if they lose to Colombia today, they may sneak through on goal difference as one of four best third-placed teams from the group stage.

England have three points so far. Three teams - Switzerland, Sweden and Thailand - have taken three points at the end of their group campaigns.

With two groups yet to finish, England need to better the goal difference of Thailand (-7) and one of the other third-placed teams to have collected three points during the group stages to get through.
