Red Devils fans have been unhappy with the playing style of Van Gaal's side and former Leicester manager Nigel Pearson says he is surprised by United's poor form under the Dutchman.
"Van Gaal will be frustrated by their results. By now he would have expected that everyone has bought into how he sees Manchester United playing," Pearson told 5 live Sport on Friday.
