Andriy Yarmolenko has scored in three consecutive games for Ukraine for the first time since October 2016.

The West Ham forward has now scored (two) or assisted (two) four of Ukraine's six goals at the European Championships.

Andriy Yarmolenko is just needing a bit of the old magic spray after his foot got trodden on.

That goal means he is now just six behind Andriy Shevchenko's all-time record of 48 goals scored for Ukraine.

It's one of the oldest ones in the book. A near post corner delivered with pace and flicked on to the far post.

And if you're a winger that's what you do, you track the far post. Yarmolenko does that and has a tap in.

The Ukraine forward springs the offside trap but is denied from close range.

It's been a lively start in Bucharest.

Ukraine have managed six shots to North Macedonia's three so far - though they have only managed to land one on target.

As you can see by the average positions of both sides below, Andriy Shevchenko's side are really going after this.

Ukraine have had 65% possession so far but just the one shot on target. You'd think they would be having a pop at every opportunity given Stole Dimitrievski's fear of catching the ball.

I'm still worried about Dimitrievski, can he actually catch a ball? If you lose a goal from that it's a bad decision.

He is unorthodox in his style, but I suppose if the game ends and he has kept a clean sheet he won't care.

A nervous moment for North Macedonia as Oleksandr Karavaev manages to get in behind inside the box. The angle is tight for a shot so he goes for a cutback but there's a bit too much pace on it and Stefan Spirovski can clear.

North Macedonia are keeping their shape really well at the moment and Ukraine are struggling to find spaces to work with.

Good little spell for North Macedonia at the moment as they have another chance in quick succession but Eljif Elmas mis-hits his shot from Boban Nikolov's cross into the sidenetting.

Oh dear Boban Nikolov!

You'd imagine North Macedonia attacks are going to be rare so they have to make the most of the ones they do get. Enis Bardhi's shot is blocked but Nikolov is onto the loose ball inside the box but sends his shot out for a throw.

Yarmolenko and Yaremchuk have got it in their nostrils. They are thinking that there are goals in this today, they've looked very dangerous so far.

Ukraine attack again and they have a good chance with three versus two but Oleksandr Zinchenko's cross hits a defender and although the deflection does fall kindly for Roman Yaremchuk he is offside.

Willem Mevius: Dimitrievski doesn't seem to like holding the ball, he has punched everything so far...

Great sliding tackle by Stefan Ristovski to deny Roman Yaremchuk but should the Ukraine forward have taken the shot earlier? He broke the offside trap and rather than smashing home he tried to square and Ristovski cut that out.

Ukraine have really pushed North Macedonia back right now.

Yarmolenko is playing at such a pace, he clearly knows this is a game Ukraine cannot afford to lose.
