That's three or four corners already won by Finland now but again the visitors can't make anything of the set-piece opportunity.

That would be interesting to see... Daniel O'Shaughnessy opted to play for his country of birth, Finland, instead of the country of his father’s birth, the Republic of Ireland, back in 2012.

The danger is only half-cleared however, though Harry Arter is unable to make a decent connection with his follow-up.

The Republic of Ireland are currently unbeaten in seven home games in all competitions, winning four and drawing three since losing 1-0 against Wales in the 2018-19 Nations League.
They've started just as Stephen Kenny will have ordered this evening - dominating the early possession.
This is the first meeting between Republic of Ireland and Finland since August 2002, when Mick McCarthy's side won 3-0 in Helsinki.
Republic of Ireland have, in fact, won the past two meetings by that scoreline.
A third successive 3-0 would go down very nicely for Stephen Kenny today.

The Nations League is separated into four divisions, with the top three divisions containing four groups with four teams - and each side facing their group opponents home and away.
The four teams topping their groups in League A head into the Nations League finals, while the winners of each group in divisions B, C and D will earn promotion. The teams finishing bottom in Leagues A and B will be relegated.
As far as the Republic of Ireland are concerned, they're in League B, Group 4, alongside Wales, Bulgaria and Finland.
