Eventually it falls to Dejan Kulusevski to have the first shot on target and Croatia keeper Dominik Livakovic has to make the save.

Spain's first chance but Dani Olmo's shot is blocked by Granit Xhaka as he attempts to bury Ferran Torres' cross.
