    Spain 3-0 Germany

Sergio Ramos is the latest player to suffer a muscle injury. He looks to play a ball over the top but pulls his right hamstring in the process.

Manchester City centre back Eric Garcia replaces the Spain and Real Madrid captain.

    Spain 3-0 Germany

After that goal the camera cut to Germany manager Joachim Low in the dugout.

He was gulping on his water and looked extremely unhappy.

I mean, I'm not one to tell a World Cup-winning manager what to do, but maybe try playing your striker, Timo Werner, through the middle and your winger, Serge Gnabry, wide, rather than the other way round.

    France 2-1 Sweden

    France

Marcus Thuram is at it again, he's been excellent tonight, and after he weaves into the area and sees a shot blocked, Benjamin Pavard is up from right-back to smash in.

France have turned this one around.

    Rodri

Game, set and match. Spain are joining France in the finals.

The resulting corner is met by Manchester City midfielder Rodri, as he glides clear of club teammate Ilkay Gundogan, and beautifully guides a header into the far corner.

Who would have thought we'd see a day where Spain scored with two headers from corners?

    But hang on...

  7. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Spain 2-0 Germany

Spain are cutting through Germany with absolute ease here.

It should be 3-0 as Fabian Ruiz finds space in between the right back and right centre-back but his cross is cut out with Ferran Torres just waiting to tap home.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2020

    Spain 2-0 Germany

Stupid from Leeds defender Robin Koch as he kicks through the back of Alvaro Morata on the halfway line.

He receives the game's first yellow card.

  9. Kovacic gives Croatia leadpublished at 20:21 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2020

    Croatia 1-0 Portugal

    Croatia

Croatia must have seen my comment about 'livening things up' as they do just that. Mario Pasalic's ball swings into Mateo Kovacic, who sees his left-footed shot saved by keeper Rui Patricio, but he doesn't miss the rebound and smashes it into the back of the net.

    More promising from Croatia.

    Ferran Torres

A goal that Ferran Torres and Spain deserve!

A cross in from Koke on the left is met by the head of Dani Olmo, but his header cannons into the bar. It spins out towards Torres, who sets himself, and absolutely crashes a volley into the right corner.

A superb finish, but Germany have been woeful so far.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2020

    Spain 1-0 Germany

How big a save could this prove to be?

A lucky deflection falls for Fabian Ruiz and he releases Ferran Torres down the right.

The Manchester City forward does everything right, going across Manuel Neuer aiming for the far corner, but the Bayern Munich does well to keep big and send it round the post.

Torres falls to his knees in disbelief.

  12. Quiet start in Croatiapublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2020

    Croatia 0 - 0 Portugal

    Croatia

It's been a fairly cagey affair so far in Croatia. Given that Croatia risk being relegated from the group if they fail to better Sweden's result against France, you'd think they'd want to liven things up a bit.

Plenty of Premier League players to keep an eye on as Diogo Jota and Bruno Fernandes both start for Portugal - the two linked up well earlier on as Fernandes set up Jota, whose header went wide in what was, probably, the best chance of the game so far.

Ferran Torres has been superb for Spain so far tonight.

At just £20m this summer, what a signing he's turning out to be for Pep Guardiola's side.

The bargain of the summer? He's got to be up there.

    Spain 1-0 Germany

I tell you what, Alvaro Morata was onside there.

There's no VAR in this competition, remember. I presume that's to make it fair across the whole tournament, but it seems very weird that we don't have it for a game like this.

  15. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:09 Greenwich Mean Time 17 November 2020

    Spain 1-0 Germany

    Almost 2-0!

It's brilliant from Spain and in particular Ferran Torres.

The Manchester City winger stretches to control the ball, powers clear of the defender and drills a cross across the six-yard line for Alvaro Morata to tap home at the back post.

Morata is adjudged to be offside, though. That looked really tight.

  16. CLOSE!published at 20 mins

    Spain 1-0 Germany

Ferran Torres is a livewire, isn't he? His movement has been causing problems for Premier League defenders, but Philipp Max clearly hasn't been watching him.

A long ball is clipped over the top of Max, and Torres does well to control it but he drags his effort wide of the target.

    Promising for Spain, though.

    England U21 3-0 Albania U21

Bayern Munich wunderkind Jamal Musiala has got a goal for England Under-21s on his first start. It's a cracker too, picking it up on the right wing, driving inside, laying it off and then running in behind for the return pass before clipping into the corner.

Another 17-year-old protege doing the business in the Bundesliga.

    Alvaro Morata

    What a header!

It's very poor defending from Germany, but that is an excellent header from former Chelsea man Alvaro Morata.

It's a corner from the right by Fabian Ruiz, and Morata, who is being marked by Serge Gnabry at the back post, powers above Manuel Neuer and into the roof of the net.

That means Spain are currently set for the four-team finals...

    Spain 0-0 Germany

Germany aren't coming here to play for a draw and secure a place in the finals.

Pau Torres once again covers well as he snuffs out an attempt from Serge Gnabry.

Torres has had an excellent start to this game.
