  1. Falkirk co-manager Miller self-isolating

Falkirk co-manager Lee Miller is self-isolating for 14 days after a positive Covid-19 test in his family.

The League One side say the action is a "precautionary measure", and stressed they are following government guidance.

Miller, 37, co-manages Falkirk alongside former team-mate David McCracken.

They are currently second in League One, after a win and a draw in their opening two matches.

  3. Ajer an injury doubt for Celtic

    Celtic v Aberdeen (Sun, 14:30)

Celtic could be without defender Kristoffer Ajer for Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen.

The Norway centre-back went off injured early in the second half of the 2-2 Europa League draw in Lille.

"Losing Ajer was a blow because he's been playing really well," said manager Neil Lennon.

"He felt his groin go, so it's not great by the looks of things. We'll have to see how long he'll be out for. He'll be a doubt for Sunday."

  4. 'This could be Aberdeen's time' - McLeish

    Celtic v Aberdeen (Sun, 14:30)

Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final could be Aberdeen's chance to finally topple a vulnerable Celtic side, says the club's former defender Alex McLeish.

The teams play for the second week running, after a 3-3 draw in the Scottish Premiership.

Celtic are chasing a quadruple treble and have regularly beaten Aberdeen during their cup dominance, including in three finals and a semi-final.

"This could be Aberdeen's time," McLeish said.

"Normally, over the years, in fixtures against Celtic we've been used to seeing Celtic score goals in the last 10 minutes.

"Aberdeen showed that resilience at the weekend. Derek McInnes has unleashed the forward players instead of bringing them back, and has a lot of forwards to choose from.

"I think the Aberdeen squad looks stronger [than before], and their bench looks stronger."

  5. Scottish Cup 2019-20: The story so far

The 2019-20 Scottish Cup started in August of last year. It will be almost two months before a winner is decided. This weekend, we finally reach the semi-final stage.

Sixteen months will have elapsed by the time of the proposed final on 20 December, making it the longest-ever Scottish Cup to be played to a conclusion.

But who will be in that winter showpiece? Hearts will face Edinburgh rivals Hibernian on Saturday, and Aberdeen take on holders Celtic the following day, with all four vying for a return trip to Hampden.

As we prepare for those matches, let's remind ourselves of what has gone in the 14 months to date.

  6. Boyce or Nisbet? Or Both?

    Hearts v Hibernian (Sat, 17:00)

If Hearts and Hibs had to put a combined team together to defend the capital, who would you pick?

Can you find a place for both Liam Boyce and Kevin Nisbet? Do you pick Scotland goalkeeper Craig Gordon or Israel counterpart Ofir Marciano?

  7. 'Pressure on Hibs' - Collins

    Hearts v Hibernian (Sat, 17:00)

Former Hibernian manager John Collins believes the pressure is on the Premiership side in Saturday's Scottish Cup semi-final at Hampden.

He told BBC Scotland's Sportsound: “Hibs are in fine form, scoring goals and not conceding any, so it’s a good recipe. Confidence must be sky high. They are big favourites but semi-finals are all about who performs on the day.

“The pressure is on HIbs because of the expectation after such a good start."

  8. This morning's gossip

Celtic manager Neil Lennon says defender Kristoffer Ajer is a doubt for Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen with a groin injury.

And Lennon says goalkeeper Scott Bain is pushing for the number one spot after saving a penalty in the draw in Lille.

Hibernian head coach Jack Ross has refused to give an injury update on his squad as they prepare for Saturday's Scottish Cup semi-final against Hearts.

Aberdeen defender Andrew Considine is closing in on a one-year contract extension, triggered when he reaches a certain number of games this season.

Dundee United manager Micky Mellon believes a deal with players and coaching staff for wage cuts will be done.

  9. Who will reach the final?

    Tweet using #bbcsportscot

Who do you fancy to triumph in this weekend's Scottish Cup semi-finals?

Will it be a Hearts-Celtic final, a repeat of the 2019 showcase?

A Hearts-Aberdeen final perhaps, the first since 1986?

Maybe a Hibernian-Celtic final - the two met at that stage in 2001 and 2013?

Or a Hibernian-Aberdeen final. They've not met in a Scottish Cup final since 1947.

  10. Scottish Cup resumes

The quarter-finals were eight months ago, but finally this weekend the last four gets underway.

Hibs and Hearts go head to head at 17:00. Hearts have won the last two Hampden clashes between the pair - 4-0 in the 2006 semi-final and 5-1 in the 2012 final. But this time Hibs are the Premiership side while Hearts are a division below. Will that have any bearing on the outcome?

On Sunday, Celtic play Aberdeen. The Dons haven't beaten Celtic at Hampden since 1992. Since then Ebbe Skovdahl, Craig Brown and Derek McInnes have all had a crack at Celtic but in seven clashes it's seven wins to Celtic. Can they change the narrative when the two clash at 14:30 on Sunday?

  11. Welcome

Hello I'm Andrew Southwick and welcome to today's live coverage, as we begin the build up to a huge weekend of Scottish football, including the 2020 Scottish Cup semi-finals.

On Saturday it's an Edinburgh derby, as Hibernian go for a second Scottish Cup in four years and Hearts try and end their long wait to lift the trophy. Wait, have I got that one correct?

On Sunday, Celtic are without a win in four games but could take a step towards an unprecedented quadruple treble should they get the better of Aberdeen in the second of the two semi-finals.

There is Scottish Premiership action too. Rangers could stretch their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to nine points should they beat Kilmarnock this weekend.
