Two Brighton players over the corner again, Percy Tau takes this time. Dan Burn can't quite get a head onto it and Davy Propper's powerful volley is right at Ederson, luckily for CIty.

There was one moment just now where Pep Guardiola looked a bit agitated. The passing was moving and sharp but Joao Cancelo got the ball and did a few step overs and the ball was static - and Pep was apoplectic! He does not want that to happen; he wants to keep the ball moving and to keep asking questions.

Fletch Fletcher: Foden is the best youngster in the Premier League by a mile. If he keeps playing like this, he's got to start for England.

Decent, that Foden. Could be the heir to Silva, don't quote me on that...

If you pick the best XI, the first XI, for Manchester City, I do think that Phil Foden is now in it - and that's high praise for the standard that is at Man City.

He's having to play a little bit wider at the moment - which doesn't always suit him. He wasn't getting enough of the ball in the first part of the first half but he did not make a mess of anything he got, he always looked dangerous.

His attitude is always perfect and he - and Manchester City - deserved it.

After going top of the Premier League yesterday, there was some more good news for Manchester United today as new signing Amad Diallo did a solo training session after completing his £19m move from Atalanta.

It was a day off for the remainder of the United squad following their win at Burnley, so we won't know until tomorrow whether he will be with the Under-23s or the first-team when he has his first proper session.

Manchester City have been much, much better since the game has gone on. They kept getting into dangerous, it felt like the dam was just about to break there.

Brighton had defended so well but for the first time in the game, Phil Foden has come inside. First chance and he scores a goal.
