Live Reporting

Emlyn Begley and Gary Rose

All times stated are UK

  1. Post update

One of us on the live text is covering the seven European matches - and the other one is doing Brazil v Argentina.

And somehow the seven games seems like the more straightforward job!

  2. Post update

    Switzerland 0-0 Italy

It's taken 83 minutes for Switzerland to have a shot on target, but Denis Zakaria's effort is saved.

  3. YELLOW CARD

    Belgium 3-0 Czech Republic

Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku is booked... which means he will miss their next game with Belarus.

I'm sure Chelsea won't be devastated he can fly straight to London instead of playing a game in Russia during the week.

Sean Turner: Big news in the football world tonight. San Marino bag one against Poland.

  5. Post update

    Brazil-Argentina suspended

One of Brazil's goalkeepers is playing in defence in this training game and has just scored the best goal that you will unfortunately never see. Belting finish, matched only by the celebrations.

  6. Post update

Guinea v Morocco sees Brazil v Argentina's administration issues and raises it... with an attempted coup.

Kev Mcveigh: If this is government intervention after an agreed process was in place from #Conmebol then Brazil must face suspension from all football like a lesser ranked nation would. If Argentina have broken the agreement suspend them. I bet neither happens though.

  8. Post update

    Brazil-Argentina suspended

Reuters have some quotes from Lionel Messi they say he gave on televison.

"Why did they start the game and stop it after five minutes?" the agency reports him saying.

"We've been here at the stadium for an hour, they could have told us."

Robert Weaver: Shambolic! Spurs and Villa didn't want players to go to Brazil but they went anyway. Argentina must have known quarantine rules, but chose to ignore them. Why did health officials wait until 7 mins played before intervening?

Mark_Lynch Shrewsbury Spur: Premier League clubs were forced by Fifa to send their players even though they would lose them for domestic games due to having to quarantine, and now it turns out the Brazilian government made their participation impossible anyway. What a waste of time!

  10. Post update

    Brazil-Argentina suspended

    .

After the Argentina players went back to their dressing room Lionel Messi came back out - in a photographer's bib for some reason - to try and sort a resolution.

Brazil's players seem more than happy just playing this training game. They are celebrating the goals like it is proper match.

Some nice close-quarters skills on show to be fair.

Benhard Naweseb: Brazil vs Argentina is like watching Big Brother housemates, nothing is actually happening.

Jon Evans: Bizarre scenes. Could have easily been sorted off the pitch before the game.

Noel Fizpatrick: The Brazilian health officials are the equivalent of a mother marching on to a pitch, grabbing her son by the scruff of the neck, and screaming at him to get in home. No other player dare say anything!

  13. Post update

    San Marino 1-5 Poland

Adam Buksa scores a header. That's two goals in two caps for the 25-year-old MLS player.

  14. Post update

    Switzerland 0-0 Italy

That was Jorginho's first penalty miss for Italy, excluding in shootouts. He had scored his first five.

It was a terribly weak penalty for Yann Sommer to save.

Craig: Brazil-Argentina - surely when the team sheets were submitted, officials could have checked them before the game even started. Most teams submit the line-up 1 hour before kick-off.

  16. Post update

    Brazil-Argentina suspended

Nets have been put up on the halfway line and Brazil are now taking part in a training game. Nothing official yet but this doesn't look like the game will be restarted today.

  17. GOAL - Belgium 3-0 Czech Republic

    Alexis Saelemaekers (65 mins)

Lovely goal. Romelu Lukaku flicks the ball into the path of Alexis Saelemaekers, who takes the ball in his stride and hammers home.

That's the first international goal for the AC Milan player, 22, who came on as a substitute today.

  18. GOAL - Spain 4-0 Georgia

    Pablo Sarabia (63 mins)

Spain finish this game off on the counter-attack.

Pablo Fornals has only been on the pitch three minutes when he picks out Pablo Sarabia in space and the Sporting Lisbon man curls it into the top corner.

  19. Post update

    Spain 3-0 Georgia

Ferran Torres is the first player from Spain to score five or more goals in the same calendar year since Isco in 2018.
