Callum Robinson hits a free-kick that deflects wide for a corner. Luxembourg get the initial delivery clear but Matt Doherty wastes good territory by smashing a shot off target.

Shane Duffy turns away in disgust before jogging back to his own half.

Chiedozie Ogbene is causing bother. He's quick and direct and has the Luxembourg defenders worried every time he gets the ball at his feet with space to run into.

HITS THE WOODWORK

I tell you what, Serbia have dusted themselves down and are looking dangerous now with Dusan Vlahovic looking a real menace.

A brilliant first touch by the Fiorentina striker brings the ball under control inside the box before he hammers a great strike onto the bottom of the post with the goalkeeper beaten.

Luxembourg have a hittable free-kick after Gerson Rodrigues is tripped by Shane Duffy.

Danel Sinani does hit it, but into the wall. Poor.

This doesn't feel like a dead rubber. There are challenges going in and two sides looking to get on the front foot.

DISALLOWED GOAL

From a free kick Nikola Milenkovic hooks the ball into the net - nice finish - but the whistle had long since been blown for a foul inside the box.

Almost the perfect goal.

Spain's possession has Sweden in a twist with the ball ending up with Pablo Sarabia.

The forward cuts on to his left and curls the ball narrowly wide of the far post from range.

The keeper had no chance if that was on target.

Serbia, unsurprisingly, seem a bit stunned by that early Portugal strike. They had clearly set up to get at their opponents early but that goal and a raucous home crowd has unsettled them.

The exciting Dusan Vlahovic, preferred in the starting XI to Serbia's top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic, sends an effort well wide of goal.

Callum Robinson needs no invitation to shoot and his bobbling effort is saved by Ralph Schon.

Ireland's first real wander forward sees Callum Robinson fire in a low ball that is sliced away from the box by a Luxembourg boot.

All Spain right now, like an attack vs defence drill.

The hosts are looking to reach a 12th consecutive World Cup. Last time they failed to reach the competition was in 1974

Luxembourg want a penalty. They feel John Egan has handled in (or at the very least near) the box following a Gerson Rodrigues poked effort. The referee isn't buying it.

Ireland getting themselves in a bit of bother here. Luxembourg are pressing high and the away defence are making errors.

Gerson Rodrigues has a couple of chances to shoot but fails to get the ball away both times.

Serbia think it should be disallowed for a push by Bernardo Silva in the build up before Silva poked the ball to Renato Sanches, who ran through and finished confidently.
