  10. Post update

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Italy

Northern Ireland have been superb this evening but their set plays must be causing frustration. Again it doesn't beat the first man.

Tom Flanagan nutmegs Bryan Cristante on the follow up. Is that his John O'Shea/Luis Figo moment?

  11. Post update

Conor Washington shows brilliant speed and strength to burst into the area. It's a tight angle and he wins a corner.

The noise, somehow, goes up yet another level.

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Italy

"You're not very good", rings out from the home supporters.

25 minutes to play and Andrea Belotti is on for Nicolo Barella.

  20. Saville, no

    Northern Ireland 0-0 Italy

    Mark Sterling

BBC Sport NI at Windsor Park

Was that just a brilliant save or should George Saville have given Gianluigi Donnarumma no chance with his effort?

The build-up play was so good, the cross-field pass, the low cross and Saville seemed to catch it well but the PSG keeper was alive to it to dive and keep it out.

That seems to have been the way in front of goal in a Northern Ireland shirt for Saville - either the keeper saves or he hits the woodwork with good strikes.

A huge confidence booster for the hosts, though, in a second half in which Italy have definitely looked worried.
