    Preston 0-0 Fulham

Fulham get this game under way.

Will we see an energetic start as the players warm up? I'm cold just watching this one.

A reminder that you can also follow all of this afternoon's action across BBC local radio - and if you're online you can listen to Squad Goals via BBC Sounds. And as the action settles down, you can hear what Preston boss Frankie McAvoy had to say in the build-up to the match too.

  4. Baggies held to draw by Forestpublished at 12:24 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2021

Result: West Brom 0-0 Nottm Forest

On Friday evening, West Bromwich Albion were forced to settle for a point as they were held to a goalless draw by Nottingham Forest.

The promotion-chasing Baggies had midfielder Jayson Molumby sent off for two yellow cards in the second half but they held on as Forest chased a winner.

The result continued Forest's upturn in form as they stretched their recent record to just one defeat in 13 games.

For Albion, however, their hopes of challenging the second tier's top two suffered another blow as they recorded a second successive draw.

  5. Fulham's stunning offensive and defensive recordpublished at 12:21 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2021

    Preston v Fulham (12:30 GMT)

    Marco SilvaImage source, Rex Features

Fulham are a formidable side on their travels this season under Marco Silva and arrive at Deepdale with an impressive record under their belt.

The Cottagers have won their past three Championship fixtures by an aggregate score of 12-0.

And, with the league's top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic in their ranks, they'll be aiming to pad that record out further today.

No wonder Silva is all smiles pre-kick-off today.

  6. Preston aim to avoid back-to-back home lossespublished at 12:19 Greenwich Mean Time 27 November 2021

    Preston v Fulham (12:30 GMT)

Preston ended up losing against Cardiff in their most recent home Championship fixture, despite initially leading 1-0 against the Bluebirds.

Should they lose again this afternoon, it will be the first time since February that the Lilywhites have lost consecutive home games.

On that occasion it was against two teams - Rotherham United and Watford - who are no longer in the division.

Will history repeat itself today against a team firmly tipped for promotion back to the Premier League?

    Brrrr!

I don't know about you, but I am dreaming of whacking the heating up to the point that I could quite happily bring you this live text commentary whilst wearing a Hawaiian shirt with an ice cold drink.

But, alas, I am resisting the urge to bump that thermostat up. It's okay for me, at least I'm indoors, whereas fans and players alike will today venture forth into the wind and snow.

Preston v Fulham gets today's feast of football going. Kick-off's coming soon.
