At half-time in the other game tonight in Group A4, Poland lead the Netherlands 1-0 thanks to a goal from Aston Villa's Matty Cash.

Crazy group this. Netherlands beat Belgium 4-1, who in turn beat Poland 6-1, and Poland now lead the Dutch. Hopefully time for Wales to get points on the board tonight and join the party.

I think that's possibly why we haven't seen Ethan Ampdau in that midfield position more often.

He's perhaps not quite as aware of players around him, he has to look both directions when he's in midfield.

That's not to say he won't be a top player in the future.

Three minutes of time added on and that's it for the first half. Cracking half of football with chances for both sides, attacking intent and bags of skill.

Joe Allen's injury is a blow for Wales and, from a personal point of view, it's particularly worrying for the player himself as he is currently without a club.

The 32-year-old has left Stoke City after his contract with the Championship club expired, with a return to his roots at Swansea City one of the options available to the midfielder.

Kevin de Bruyne is at it again, firing at the near post. It's on target but Wayne Hennessey just spots it in time and dives full length to his right to palm the ball away.

Belgium continue to push as the clock ticks towards half-time. Kevin de Bruyne shoots from the 'D' but there's a forest of Welsh shirts in the way and it's Aaron Ramsey's back that blocks the effort.

Belgium counter immediately and although Ben Davies initially blocks Michy Batshuayi, the ball squirts loose to Leandro Trossard. The Brighton player must score from eight yards but somehow shanks his effort wide of the left post.

Connor Roberts has another crack at goal as Wales work a series of one-twos - but he's leaning back and the ball sails high, wide and not so handsome.

That's Joe Allen's last involvement unfortunately and he limps off, looks like a hamstring problem. On comes Aaron Ramsey - not a bad replacement.

Almost, almost! Joe Allen and Connor Roberts combine, with Allen picking out the defender who curls a header just over the junction of post and crossbar.

Over the last year or so Harry Wilson's game has really evolved. He's been unfortunate not to start some of the bigger games recently.

I really like him as a player, I think he's intelligent and he's got a wand of a left foot.

Wayne Hennessey has to be on his toes, sprinting out of his area to kick the ball off the toes of Michy Batshuayi as the frontman sprinted onto a through ball.

A brilliant Thomas Meunier ball releases Yannick Carrasco. He cuts inside but then seems to dither whether to shoot or pick out Kevin de Bruyne and ends up scuffing the ball instead. Good chance wasted.

Belgium haven't lost a Saturday game in any competition since 2014, when they lost to Argentina in the World Cup.

First Yannick Carrasco and then Kevin de Bruyne send dangerous low crosses across the Wales box. The home side have to scramble a bit but clear their lines.

Gareth Bale picks out Neco Williams on the far left flank, he's by himself but the ball just won't sit down for the wing-back before the Belgium cover gets across.

Joe Allen shows a lovely touch to make space for himself in the Belgium area, but his snap-shot is blocked from close range.

Allen and Ethan Ampadu are nominally holding midfielders but they're doing far more than just sitting and have had some of Wales' best chances.

Boos ring out as Belgium win a corner that the Red Wall disagree with. No panic though as the Wales defence clear Kevin de Bruyne's kick comfortably.
