It went as a contest when the first goal went in, you could see the heads drop from the Ivory Coast team. After the sending off it was a case of how many.

England have looked fairly confident and measured throughout the two performances. A standout performance from Jude Bellingham tonight.

It was a good run and a good ball but Harry Kane's touch got away from him.

Lovely ball from Harry Maguire. He curls it over the top for Harry Kane, who should do better but his touch is poor and it rolls away from him.

If he had taken that down, he'd have got a shot off in space in the box.

A few minutes left for England to try and find a goal in this second half. Jude Bellingham will want one to cap off an impressive night individually.

It's good patience from England but also good defence from Ivory Coast - it's like a game within a game, can you work that overload, like in training.

Phil Foden cuts in off the right and fires it over the bar from the edge of the box after a few nice touches.

It almost comes through to Harry Kane in the box but it races into the keeper's arms just at the end.

The game has definitely lost an edge now.

Kyle Walker-Peters drills it into the feet of Phil Foden but his touch isn't great as he tries to spin in one movement. He gives a thumbs up for the pass.

Poland and Portugal close to qualifying

A big goal for Poland from Piotr Zielinski who has doubled his side's lead over Sweden in their World Cup play-off. It's now 2-0 with around 12 minutes to go.

Meanwhile, Portugal still lead North Macedonia 2-0 thanks to a double from Bruno Fernandes.

Luke Shaw slides it through to Jude Bellingham but it's a bit too heavy and the goalkeeper comes out to collect.
