The three times when Denmark have had two attempts or fewer in the first half of a World Cup game have all come against France - 2002, 2018 and today.

They didn't lose either game, winning 2-0 on the first occasion and drawing 0-0 four years ago.

I thought there were a lot of good things in the first half from France, very positive. They just need a bit more efficiency in the final third and to be a bit more clinical.

It's coming but I was the most impressed with the control of the game. We were not under pressure, the midfield worked really hard.
