Costa Rica have failed to have an attempt at goal in the first half of a World Cup match for the first time since 1990 v Sweden.

There were a number of questions marks at the start of the game as how Spain were going to play in terms of being able to breakdown Costa Rica and it has been the Barcelona players, it has been Sergio Busquets, it has been Pedri and Gavi who have shone.

You look at those guys and the pleasure they have with playing in the same side and the understanding they have with each other to cut through Costa Rica.
