Well the drama never stops because Kai Havertz off the bench for Germany has got the ball into the back of the net and it's 2-2. Germany desperately needed that. It may not be enough for them but it could save Spain.

It's hard to keep up with what is happening at the moment. There were huge roars here from the Japan fans when the big screen here flashed up what the group looked like with Costa Rica winning.... but then seconds later the Spain fans to my right celebrated wildly after hearing that Germany had equalised.

I just can't believe it. I cannot believe the turnaround in this second half.

A brilliant attack down the left and Kaoru Mitoma plays a brilliant ball into the middle for Asano, who should at least get the shot on target but it squirms wide.
