I've been fortunate enough to be involved in the World Cup with the Republic of Ireland which is where my mother's from but my father's from Jamestown, Accra. So I've been to Ghana on several occasions.

To be working for them in the capacity that I'm working for is something that I’m incredibly proud of and I must admit I've thoroughly enjoyed the involvement.

My role is very much a support role for the technical staff. So it's a support mechanism for the head coach Otto Addo. He’s a very good head coach and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with him and the technical staff.

Kick-off is fast approaching and South Korea's fans are out in force as they aim to cheer their team to a victory that would - for a short time at least - put them top of Group H before Portugal-Uruguay at 19:00 GMT.

Ghana's Osman Bukari has defended his imitation of Cristiano Ronaldo's iconic 'Siuuu' celebrations after scoring a late consolation in the team's loss to Portugal.

It follows comments on social media that the celebration was disrespectful towards Ronaldo - who usually celebrates his goals by jumping up while rotating in mid-air.

But in Twitter posts, Bukari dismissed the concerns as "incorrect".

He said he "was overcome by the emotion of the moment of scoring for my country on my World Cup debut".

Bukari added: "My upbringing doesn’t permit me to be disrespectful to elders let alone one of my idols," he added.

Two wins from nine games. That's the record of African nations at this World Cup. Only Senegal (3-1 v Qatar) and Morocco (2-0 v Belgium) have celebrated victories so far.

The other seven matches have ended in three draws and four defeats.

Will Ghana make it a third win for the football-mad continent?

Fans from all over the globe are at this game.

So far I’ve seen, aside from the obviously Ghana and South Korea fans, a family of Welsh supporters, one Scot, two fans from Iceland and these guys from Nigeria.

‘Representing Africa’ was their response to being here.

Premier League referee Anthony Taylor is taking charge of what is the 30th game of this World Cup.

A proud moment for the 44-year-old from Manchester who has worked his way up from taking charge of games in the Northern Premier League.

Tottenham forward Son Heung-min is like a God back in South Korea and his name is on the back of shirts everywhere you look.

Earlier this month, one fan told BBC Sport he was "more famous than Beyonce."

He was quiet in the first match as South Korea drew 0-0 with Uruguay. Is today the day he gets his goal at this World Cup?

These two would be pretty chuffed if it was.

There are three changes to the South Korea side from their goalless draw with Uruguay.

Midfielder Na Sang-ho, Mainz striker Lee Jae-sung and forward Hwang Ui-jo have all dropped to the bench.

Captain Son Heung-min starts, while Wolves' Hwang Hee-chan is still on the bench with a hamstring problem.

South Korea XI: Seung-gyu, Jin-su, Min-jae, Woo-young, In-beom, Heung-min, Gue-sung, Moon-hwan, Young-gwon, Chang-hoon, Woo-yeung.

There are three changes for Ghana from the narrow defeat to Portugal in their opening game.

Brighton's Tariq Lamptey comes in, alongside Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew, whose brother Andre captains the side.

Gideon Mensah also comes into the starting XI.

Reading's Baba Rahman, Alidu Seidu and Alexander Djiku drop to the bench from the defence in what looks like a formation change.

Ghana XI: Zigi, Lamptey, Salisu, Partey, J Ayew, A Ayew, Mensah, Amartey, Williams, Kudus, Abdul Samed.

After losing 3-2 to Portugal in their opening game, Ghana are looking to bounce back before their final Group H game with Uruguay on Friday.

South Korea have one point on the board after a goalless stalemate against Uruguay. They can neither qualify nor be eliminated before facing Portugal in four days time.

We've already had a six-goal beauty in Monday's opening game in Qatar. The heat is on South Korea and Ghana to keep the excitement flowing.

Qatar have already gone. Canada cannot advance past the group stage either.
