Another corner for Fiorentina as Nicolas Gonzalez is denied on the right side of the box by a great challenge.

A plastic pint cup lands next to him and he jokingly takes a pretend drink from it but then it becomes far more serious moments later as Cristiano Biraghi is caught by more objects thrown from the stands and this time it results in him bleeding from the back of the head.

A real shame. Just absolutely no need for this.

Initially it was good skill, he has been caught red handed. He was waiting for the contact and Benrhama could have carried on!

We have the game's first yellow card, and it goes to West Ham for a dive that is more suited to a swimming pool.

Said Benrahma is the man guilty of it as he tries to win a free kick off Giacomo Bonaventura. Daft thing is he didn't need to do it too, as he had produced great footwork and looked to be away inside the box as he went down.

I think if the referee is not strong tonight, West Ham could be in trouble with all the play acting from the Fiorentina players.

Michail Antonio is perhaps getting a bit frustrated because he's been on the receiving end of a few boisterous challenges and hasn't had a free kick awarded to him yet. He does appear to be caught late by a sliding Nikola Milenkovic but nothing is given.

Another load of plastic cups were thrown then as Fiorentina took a corner. Someone is scurrying across to take them off the pitch but it is not a good look.

The Italians are deadly from set pieces and they win the game's first corner, which Cristiano Biraghi sends into the box and finds Nikola Milenkovic, who rises unchallenged but heads over.

A few ironic cheers from the West Ham fans as they are awarded a free kick after Lucas Paqueta was dragged back.

The Hammers have had just 26% possession and appear happy to wait for opportunities on the counter for now.

Michail Antonio is not getting a lot of joy out of the Fiorentina defence, which means West Ham are struggling to get any momentum into their attacking play.

Lucas Paqueta has been on the periphery of the game so far.

In contrast, Fiorentina are getting bodies around the West Ham area.

It hasn't led to a clear chance yet but the Hammers need to be careful.

West Ham need to stop Giacomo Bonaventura having so much space. He is being allowed to dictate play and he finds Luka Jovic just inside the box. West Ham's defence is able to get a tackle in but the clearance rebounds back to Jovic, whose shot is blocked.

Fiorentina have come with the Mourinho-Roma template to take the sting out of what looks like a more glamorous European final. They don't look like they have anything in the locker other than anti-football tactics.

Giacomo Bonaventura plays a fine ball out wide, looking for the run of Dodo but Emerson reads it well to slide in and scoop the ball away. That was an important intervention otherwise Dodo would have been in on the right.

Imagine if Rice gets that one goal and they keep a clean sheet. He scuffed it there. He did have to take it first time and he wasn't able to get control of it.

It is like a 90s rave out there with the amount of times I've heard the sound of a whistle being blown. Now Lucas Paqueta is penalised for a foul.
