I'm doing everything within my power to keep myself available. I've had a difficult year injury wise, but I was thankful to get back on the pitch for the second half of the season with Crusaders. We had a pretty successful second half to the season and won eight out of nine games and it was fantastic to get back onto the pitch after a really difficult year.

Definitely being up here is not something I'm familiar with, watching the team, but it's not something that's within my control at the moment.

A well-worked move down the right from Northern Ireland almost results in the opening goal of the game.

Caragh Hamilton finds Danielle Maxwell, and she slips the ball into Simone Magill, whose low shot is smothered by Reka Szocs.

The flag then goes up for offside, but that was a promising move from Northern Ireland, who do possess a threat out wide.

That looked very close from Sarah McFadden.

Her old strikers instincts coming back to her there!

The rain may have gone but the Republic are still unable to break the durable Albanians. Katie McCabe just delivered a dangerous ball into the Albanian area but Kyra Carusa couldn't get full purchase on the shot and it looped into the hands of keeper Viona Rexhepi.

The best chance of the game for Northern Ireland goes begging.

Demi Vance again swings in a dangerous corner, which hits Nadene Caldwell and drops to Sarah McFadden.

She swivels and fires towards goal, but her effort goes just wide.

Lauren Wade was also ready to get a strike on goal when the ball dropped and you have to wonder if she was better placed to have a shot.

Northern Ireland have looked good on the counter-attack so far, winning another corner after capitalising on a misplaced Hungary pass.

A trait we saw of Hungary on Friday was they weren't reluctant to take shots from distance, especially when they were playing with the wind in the first half, which they are again tonight.

It's something that Shannon Turner needs to be aware of tonight.

It is one-way traffic for Northern Ireland at the minute.

It's good to see the likes of Chloe McCarron getting on the ball and starting to dictate the play a bit.

Northern Ireland have seemed to settle into the game a bit more, but Hungary still look dangerous every time they go forward.

Viktoria Szabo capitalises on a slack pass from Demi Vance and fires towards goal from a narrow angle, with Shannon Turner equal to the effort.

Amazingly, the game restarts in Shkoder, let's hope that the rain has eased and the full 45 minutes can be completed.

Ahead of the second half in Shkoder, Eileen Gleeson has opted to make a double change, with Erin McLaughlin and Sinead Farrelly replaced by Jamie Finn and Heather Payne.

Dora Zeller's volley dips just over the crossbar from inside the area. The away side have really started to push forward, and Northern Ireland are struggling to cope with continuous waves of attack.

It's good for Shannon to make a good save early in the game and it will build her confidence.

The game bursts into life with chances at both end.

First a teasing corner delivery from Demi Vance finds Laura Rafferty at the back post. She then nods the ball onto Sarah McFadden, whose resulting header is cleared off the line.

Hungary launch a swift counter-attack, with Emoke Papai slipped through on goal, but Shannon Turner stands tall and pushes her effort behind.

That will be a huge confidence boos for the goalkeeper, who endured a rough night in Friday's defeat.

Dora Zeller has the first opportunity of the game with a speclative shot from range that fails to trouble Shannon Turner in the Northern Ireland goal.

Moments later Emoke Papai meets an inviting delivery into the box, but heads right at the Wolves goalkeeper.

Despite the weather in Belfast, the fans are as eager as ever to see this Northern Ireland team.

The teams come out at the far end of the ground, allowing young fans to get up and close as Nadene Caldwell leads the teams out at Seaview.

It has been a quiet opening to the game from a Northern Ireland point of view, Hungary have definitely had more of the ball in a rain-soaked night in north Belfast.

The FAI have said that the second half will go ahead in Shkoder this evening.

"The referee has decided that the game will continue. Should conditions worsen, the referee will inform both teams as to what the next course of action will be."
