I am gobsmacked.

It's like playing against a team of mannequins.

It's a good time for Notts to score because they've got a bit sloppy in the last five minutes or so.

Now they just need to settle down.

The Magpies have bossed possession in the opening 34 minutes, and that's an understatement.

They've had more than 80% of the ball.

But Bradford could easily be level after that Andy Cook chance and Notts boss Luke Williams will want a second....soon.

Another fine chance for Bradford!

Bobby Pointon's superb cross from the right finds Andy Cook yards from goal.

But like Macaulay Langstaff moments earlier plants his header onto the ground and Notts goalkeeper Sam Slocombe is able to make the point-blank save.

What a save from Harry Lewis.

That was a point blank header down to his feet, and thankfully nobody was there to score the rebound.

Take a bow Harry Lewis.

Wonderful cross from David McGoldrick on the left picks out Macaulay Langstaff just yards out from goal, but Lewis makes a superb reaction save with his knee.

Langstaff should have buried that header mind you.

Bradford win a free kick in a promising position, central to goal and 10 yards outside the box.

Jamie Walker takes a breath, steps up, and blazes it high wide and handsome.

Notts reply with another lovely spell of possession and that's underlined by our old friend match stats.

The hosts have had 226 passes in the opening quarter to Bradford's 32.

Impressive stuff.

Bradford just getting a bit of joy now after Notts' superb start.

Alex Gilliead pings in a cross from the right which is headed clear but drops to Andy Cook just inside the box who turns and steers a shot just past the far post.

It might be worth mentioning that despite Bradford being 18th in the League Two table, they've played the four teams above Notts County and lost none of them.

When Notts County last beat Bradford in 2014, a fresh-faced Jack Grealish scored the winner for Notts.

I wonder whatever became of him?

A first sight of goal for Bradford.

Pointon works room down the right and sends a far post cross to Andy Cook, but he guides his header wide, under pressure.

This is just the start to settle the hosts, but the last thing new Bradford boss Graham Alexander will have wanted.

David McGoldrick is popping up all over the place as Notts stroke the ball around in the Bradford half.

Then Macaulay Langstaff's low shot is inches wide as Aaron Nemane finds too much space in the City box.
