Sheffield have booked their place in the Final Four next weekend with a 5-2 second leg win over Manchester - 7-4 on aggregate.

Cardiff will take a 5-1 lead home for the second leg of their tie with Coventry.

Nottingham will travel to Guildford with a 4-1 advantage.

The Giants will take a two-goal lead to Glasgow on Sunday thanks to those two late powerplay goals.

It wasn't the Giants best performance but again they found a way to win a big game.

The Clan know they can score and their powerplay was good so it's still all to play for.

Pretty even first period and for a play-off game, one that has lacked the physicality you associate with such an occasion.

Giants get on the board but didn't create a lot of chances while the Clan can count themselves unlucky not to be level with the disallowed goal and a Craig Peacock opportunity that Beskorowany saved.

After winning the Elite League and Challenge Cup the quest for the Grand Slam begins for the Belfast Giants as they welcome the Glasgow Clan for the first leg of the Elite League Play-offs Quarter-Final.

The three trophies have been won by one team on only two occasions before - 2005 Coventry Blaze and 2013 Nottingham Panthers - the Giants have missed out in 2019 and 2022 when after winning the league and cup they lost in the Play-offs Final, both times to the Cardiff Devils.

In order to reach the Final Four in Nottingham next weekend they'll have to see off the challenge of Glasgow over two legs - this evening and on Sunday in Scotland.

The other three quarter-finals also take place tonight with 7pm face-offs....
