The final buzzer sounds and the Giants secure the victory!

Josh Roach broke the deadlock at 7:46 when his shot from the point sailed past traffic and into the back of the net, before Travis Brown's close range effort made it 2-0 after 20 minutes.

The Giants pushed for a more comfortable lead with Evan Weninger producing multiple impressive saves, and Tyler Beskorowany proving to be a brick wall in the Giants net to keep Manchester at bay.

As the game went on, the chances grew less frequent, but the goals weren't done as Blake Speers scored on his home debut when he tapped home into an empty net with 30 seconds to go.

Adam Keefe's men will look to build on this result in their next match when they welcome the Fife Flyers to the SSE Arena next Saturday.

Thanks for joining us this afternoon, bye for now.
