Highlights: Leeds Rhinos beat Castleford Tigers to win the 2019 Women's Challenge Cup

The Women's Challenge Cup was set up in 2012 to run alongside the men's competition to give women's rugby teams more competitive games.

Leeds Rhinos have won the previous two Challenge Cups and will be looking to make it three in a row this year if they can get past St Helens in the semi-final. Castleford Tigers lost to Leeds in both of those finals and will want to break that run if they can beat York City Knights in their semi-final.

The final will take place at Leigh Sports Village on Saturday, 5 June and will be shown live on BBC Two.

    BBC Sport

Rugby league is a fast and dynamic game, which involves great strength, stamina and skill, and is played through the summer, so no muddy pitches, or cold, wet training nights.

With so many variations, you don't have to play the full version of the game to be part of it.

Whatever your age, gender, fitness level or technical ability there is a version of rugby league that will suit you.

You can get more information about how to get involved with Rugby League here and find your local club by using the RFL's club finder, external.
