    Glasgow 23-17 Edinburgh

We're in for a grandstand finish here! Mark Bennett makes a superb break from his own half, and when he's tackled Jones tries to go in and pinch the ball, but gets penalised for not releasing.

Edinburgh are able to kick the ball into the corner. Can they steal this at the death?

From both teams tonight, it's been more solid with more discipline in their set ups which has led to good scrums.

Tell you what, Rufus McLean looks a player. The Glasgow debutant steps inside Jamie Farndale, shrugging him off in the process to escape being bundled into touch.

It's flagged as a high tackle and Glasgow now have a decent platform inside Edinburgh's half.

Another Edinburgh move breaks down due to a knock-on, and Glasgow then extract a penalty after an exceedingly long scrum.

I like that Edinburgh are trying to play with more enterprise but their basic skillset has to be a lot better.

Here come Edinburgh! They've got good pace about them here in attack. This is much better than going to the theatre...

One of the fascinating battles in this game is between Glasgow's Tom Gordon and Hamish Watson of Edinburgh. Nothing to do with the game, mind, just comparing their mullets.

Frustrating from Glasgow. They get themselves in a good position, but they need to have a little bit more patience. It's slippery out there, they need to take their time and make better decisions when to pick up the pace.

After a frantic bit of play, Glasgow are advancing on Edinburgh's line!

Nick Grigg just got a pass away before being thumped, and it allowed Rufus McLean to scamper clear, and kick over is then gathered by Blair Kinghorn.

Kinghorn's own kick is charged down and Glasgow steal the ball, but Matt Fagerson eventually knocks on. It's certainly an open contest!

You can't just crawl over the line these days. If they had just recycled that, in behind Glasgow's defence they could have got a try.

Huw Jones is forced to run the ball out after a clever chip into Glasgow's 22.

Edinburgh retain from the lineout, and Pierre Schoeman goes low to try and batter over, but referee Mike Adamson calls a double movement. A sigh of relief for Glasgow.

Jaco van der Walt is now back from the sin-bin for Edinburgh too. Leone Nakarawa is on for his first Warriors appearance in 11 months, he replaces Richie Gray.

It's a bit sloppy from Glasgow since they scored that try. They need to be careful and make sure they can keep their tempo so Edinburgh don't use it as an opportunity to get a front foot.

Things have flipped in a matter of minutes after Edinburgh's scintillating score. Glasgow are pinged for not rolling away, and Edinburgh - down to 14 men just now remember - are up to the Glasgow 22.

    Chris Dean

    Stunning!

What a reply from Edinburgh! Hooker Dave Cherry found space to galivant up the pitch with the searing pace of a winger, he offloaded to Hamish Watson who tipped on to Dean to finish next to the posts.

Another fine try, and Mark Bennett converts with Jaco van der Walt in the bin.

    Game on again!

    George Turner

    Warriors strike again!

The driving maul from the lineout rumbles over, with hooker George Turner at the back to finish.

They are in total control of this game now as Ross Thompson converts.

  15. Sin-bin - Jaco van der Walt (Edinburgh)published at 51 mins

    Glasgow 16-10 Edinburgh

Great play from Glasgow centre Nick Grigg puts Huw Jones surging through a gap! He gets up to the 22m line before being hauled down by Jaco van der Walt. The South African just lies on the ball to prevent Glasgow getting quick ball, and he's pinged for it.

10 minutes in the bin now, for the Scotland international.

It's going Glasgow's way just now, as they secure their own lineout inside their half, and exit well.

Edinburgh are a bit shell-shocked here. Magnus Bradbury fumbles the ball at the back of the ruck and Glasgow get a scrum in enemy territory.

Really mature play from Glasgow. Good lineout got it going forward. They play with quick ball, good organisation and a good try.

Try - Glasgow 16-10 Edinburghpublished at 45 mins

    Matt Fagerson

    Matt Fagerson batters over!

They've struggled to build phases all night but they do so here, with George Turner and Aki Seiuli hitting nice lines, before Fagerson has a go and breaches the Edinburgh defence from 2m out.

Ross Thompson with the simple conversion and Glasgow are back in front.

    Glasgow 9-10 Edinburgh

A high shot by Bill Mata on Robbie Fergusson gives Glasgow the chance of some early territory.

George Turner is back on the pitch so it's back up to 15-a-side. Rufus McLean also returns to resume his debut.
