World champion Georgia Taylor-Brown and double Olympic medallist Jonny Brownlee hope to use Saturday's Super League Triathlon Arena Games to kick start their Olympic season.
The Super League Triathlon Arena Games are an exciting and innovative new type of triathlon - combining real and virtual races to allow entire triathlons to take place in one arena.
Competitors will swim four lengths of an Olympic pool, while the 1km run and the 4km cycle ride will take place on fixed machines, with the athletes' performances recreated in real-time on virtual courses for the spectators.
There will be two minutes between each leg for the competitors to prepare, and the order of the events will be mixed up across three different stages.
The event first hit the triathlon scene in Rotterdam in 2020 and was a big success, with races in London and Rotterdam already announced for this year. The London leg is being hosted in the London Acquatics Centre at the Olympic Park.
